I fell in love with your neighbor. *wink wink*
Ahh the Willie Wagtails! Even their nest is cute! : D
I miss willy wagtails! Sydney has different birds to Perth and I thought I was weird when I was in the car the other day and I told my boyfriend that’s one of the things I miss about Perth. Watching those little willy wagtails shake their booty.
I live next door to an opera singer…she often sings as she hangs out the clothes. I’ve never told her, but it’s the most beautiful thing ever.
You should give them a house warming gift. :)Those are amazing pictures. I never see nests like that where I am. We have them, but they’re not as… condensed(?) as that. They’re not as thickly interwoven, I mean. Speaking of which, we don’t have Wagtails here, either. I am blessed to see a red cardinal now and then, though.
Dear Lost Princess,
I have just tagged you for an award!
Please do come and see…
Such lovely neighbors! Sometimes I have little red headed woodpeckers outside my window.
Oh what nice neighbors to have. I am sure they enjoy living next to you as well ^.^
How precious!! The only bird we have around here are grackles… They are like giant crows who smell and are annoyingly loud.
Enjoy the new neighbours!
Always,
Ellie Grace
You have lovely neighbours! :)
There is two musician in my neigbourhood, and I love to hear the piano from the other home while I coming down on the stairs.
Beautiful! My singers are of the human sort. Their classical songs are a treat to the ear, but I must plug my ears when they scream rock-n-roll; )
We’ve had some new (what I think are) silvereye neighbours this year. I find them lovely – when there’s a flock of them on a windy day they look like swirling leaves. However, the old-timer wattlebirds and honeyeaters find their presence a little grating I think – I like to imagine that they’re yelling “get off my lawn!”.
awww your new neighbours are adorable! Birds just make me smile when I hear them sing:) You lucky thing to have a beautiful little family right outside your house!
I had a charming Wren family settle in the shrubbery outside my window this summer. I couldn’t see them, but I could hear them chattering away all the day. It was very pleasant, except sometimes at night, when the Father thought he would salute the moon as well as the sun. But I was very sad when they moved. I wish I could sing as prettily as they!
Wow this site is magical and your photos are amazing. You have totally inspired me. The photos of the birds above are so cute :O)
They sure found a nice place to live…
Awwwww. I have lots of birdies hanging around my backyard at the moment too. They’re so cute. I like watching from my window as they play around in the bird bath :3
This is so lovely. Your blog is enchanting!

I love those kinds of bird nests, that just seem to cling to anywhere and everywhere. Baby birds soon?
