Princess

I am the girl who never quite grew up, who reads too much and likes to draw maps of imaginary places. I often make-believe that I am the Princess of my own little kingdom, and if you believe anything hard enough its likely to come true. I like to dress up as story-book characters and have adventures and I do ballet on Wednesdays and have one and a half spoons of sugar with my tea.

I like to read…
Peter S. Beagle, C. S. Lewis, George MacDonald, Hans Christian Anderson, Frances Hodgson Burnett, Alan Garner, Dianna Wynne Jones, Oscar Wilde, Elizabeth Goudge, E. Nesbit, L.M. Montgomery.

Books are like friends, new ones are silver, but old old ones are gold.

My doll’s name is Miss Charlotte. She likes peppermint humbugs and has more shoes than I do.
